Happiness is...

I was reading this weekend about how we define happiness in our society and I came across a beautiful article from The Culture Mastery. The article was about "Why people around the world define happiness and well-being differently". They conducted a survey in China to learn more about how people define happiness, Their survey focuses on three dimensions of happiness — a good mood, a good life and a sense of whether one’s life has meaning. 
Reading this made me think of one of my favourite quotes, from the TV show Heroes: 

"You see, I think there comes a time when a man has to ask himself whether he wants a life of happiness or a life of meaning. They are two very different paths. I mean, to be truly happy, a man must live absolutely in the present. And with no thought of what's gone before, and no thought of what lies ahead. But, a life of meaning... A man is condemned to wallow in the past and obsess about the future. And my guess is that you've done quite a bit of obsessing about yours these last few days."
So today I wanted to spend a little time defining what kind of life we all want (different for each of us). I think what I would love to gift all of you is the ability to know what you want, not based on anything else but your own thoughts. The world today is trying us to "be happy", "this is what happiness looks like" etc but based on who's ideals??????

Take a moment for yourself to think about what kind of life you want, how will you define happiness for yourself?

Now that you have taken a moment to define happiness for yourself lets work on creating our own personal mantra, your mantra is your saying, its a reminder based on what you belief and want to manifest. 

With Happiness being our theme this week, our goal is to create our own happiness mantra. Thinking about how we define happiness create a happiness statement.

Waking up in Gemini
