SOAP INGREDIENTS 

Coconut Oil: Used to transformed the soap to a hardened state. The numerous minerals and nutrients in coconut are great for your skin.  The oil can also work to help remove dirt and dead cells from the skin.

Certified Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO): Palm oil is used to replace lard and works is important to create the cleansing and conditioning properties.

Safflower Oil:  Works to create the lathering effect in soap and is moisturizing. It is high in linoleic acid gives the soap its moisturizing properties. Safflower oil also has beneficial anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant properties due to its high concentration of vitamin E.

Glycerin: The key ingredients that makes our soap clear! The clarity is due to the alignment of the soap molecules. Glycerin is also a humectant that is capable of drawing moisture towards itself which helps moisture stay on your skin making our soaps extra moisturizing. 

Purified Water: Water is used to create the chemical reaction of saponification?Saponification is a process that involves conversion oil into soap and alcohol by the action of heat in the presence of aqueous alkali 

Sodium: Is also used in soap-making to turn the oils into soap.

Oat Protein: Oat Protein is naturally derived from Aveena sativa kernels (Oat Plant) and is a alternative vegan comparable to animal proteins. It contains two proteins, avenin and glubulins, which are not found in any other grain proteins. They offer skin softening, skin soothing, and anti-inflammatory benefits. Oat Protein is a good solution for soap without the use of gluten and gmo.

Essential Oil: An essential oil is a concentrated hydrophobic liquid containing volatile chemical compounds from plants. Used in soap to give it a strong aroma that includes the natural benefits of the plant it came from. 

(ie. grapefruit essential oil is naturally high in antioxidants and phytochemicals that reduce oxidative stress and disease-causing inflammation)

Fragrance Oil: Fragrance oil are blended synthetic aroma compounds or natural essential oils that are diluted with a carrier oil. All our fragrance oils are vegan and phthalate free. 

Mica: Mica is a rock that naturally occurs in the ground almost everywhere. Coloured Micas are beautiful natural colours that are created by coating mica flakes with high heat resistant iron oxides, ultramarines (referred to as 'nature identical') or dyes.

Pigment: Iron oxides, ultramarines (referred to as 'nature identical') or dyes that we blend with glycerin

 

BATH BOMB INGREDIENTS 

UPS Pure Sodium Bicarbonate (Baking Soda): Sodium Bicarbonate ( is a staple ingredient within bath bombs, it helps to soften water and soothe the skin. When combined with bath water and citric acid, carbon dioxide is released creating fizzing bubbles.

Non GMO UPS Citric Acid: Citric acid is a weak organic acid that occurs naturally in citrus fruits. When combined with bath water and sodium bicarbonate, carbon dioxide is released creating fizzing bubbles.

Natural USP Magnesium Sulfate (Epson Salts): When dissolved in water it releases magnesium and sulfate ions which can be absorbed through your skin, providing you with magnesium and sulfates — which serve important bodily functions.

Coconut Oil: Coconut oil does greatly benefit the skin, softening it and even healing minor damage. Soothe dry skin conditions like psoriasis and eczema by bathing regularly with this gentle emollient. 

Coconut Milk: Works to moisturizes the skin. Soothes the skin. Promotes healthy and glowing skin. Effective in treating sun damaged skin. Reduces skin redness. Improves skin elasticity due to its copper and Vitamin C content.

Polysorbate 80: Polysorbate 80 is used in the bath and body industry as a surfactant. To keep it simple, this just means it allows the oils and colors in the bath bomb to be absorbed by the water. Without it, the oils would float on top of the water and the colors would stain the tubs.

Water Soluble Pigment:

Vegan Popping Candy:  Non-GMO, Kosher Certified Popping Candy. When they dissolve into the water, tiny carbon dioxide bubbles are released, breaking the candy, making a popping and sizzling sound.

Glycerine – A powerful humectant that helps dry skin replenish natural hydration levels while protecting its fragile moisture barrier. It conditions skin to make it visibly smooth and soft.

Why can't we simply replace palm oil?

Although using other vegetable oils seems like a practical solution, it would actually create similar - if not even larger - environmental and social problems. Therefore, the best solution is to ensure you buy products that contain sustainable palm oil.

There is a misconception that these concerns can be addressed when companies simply stop using palm oil in their products. However, this is not as easy as it sounds for a number of reasons:

• Replacing palm oil with other types of vegetable oil (such as sunflower, soybean or rapeseed oil) would mean that much larger amounts of land would need to be used, since palm trees produce 4-10 times more oil than other crops per unit of cultivated land. This would result in serious environmental damage, with the risk that more forests would need to be converted into agricultural land.
• In producing countries, millions of farmers and their families work in the palm oil sector. Palm oil plays an important role in the reduction of poverty in these areas. In Indonesia and Malaysia, a total of 4.5 million people earn their living from palm oil production. Stopping the production of palm oil altogether would create significant problems for these people who support their families by working in this industry.
• Replacing palm oil with other types of oil is not always feasible due to palm oil’s unique properties as food ingredient. Using other oils would not give the products the same texture and taste that palm oil offers.
